Ajaz Khan Booked by Charkop Police for Allegedly Raping Actress Under False Promises of Marriage and TV Roles

Actor Ajaz Khan has been booked by Charkop Police in Mumbai following allegations of rape filed by a 30-year-old woman. The FIR, registered on May 4, states that Khan allegedly sexually assaulted the woman under the pretense of marriage and offering her acting opportunities.

According to the complaint, the woman, a television actress residing in Kandivali West, was associated with the web series House Arrest. She met Khan, who was the host of the show, during the shoot in Madh Malvani, Malad West, between March 17 and 22, 2025. Although she left the project midway, she was later invited to attend the show’s finale on March 24, where her interaction with Khan continued.

As detailed in the FIR, Khan asked for her contact details during the finale event and subsequently expressed romantic interest, stating his desire to marry her. When they met later that day at her residence, Khan allegedly assured her of both marriage and future work in television projects, even offering financial help for her sister’s wedding. The complaint claims that it was during this meeting that the first instance of rape occurred.

The woman further alleges that Khan continued to assault her at various locations while repeatedly promising acting opportunities. Following this, she approached Charkop Police, who have charged Khan under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including Section 64 (rape), Section 54(2)(m) (rape in certain circumstances), Section 69 (sexual intercourse by deceit), and Section 74 (assault with intent to outrage modesty).

Ajaz Khan, known for his roles in films and as a contestant on Bigg Boss 7, is also facing a separate FIR registered by Amboli Police on May 2. That case involves allegations against Khan, others, and the Ullu App over the alleged use of obscene content and language in the House Arrest web series.
