A fire at Manisha building in the Juhu area of Andheri West resulted in over 8 people injured. No fatalities were recorded.
According to the BMC, a fire was recorded in the AC unit of the sixth floor in the 11 storey building in the early hours of Thursday morning. The fire was brought under control by 11:30 am. Fire brigade and ambulances were immediately sent according to the BMC.
The injured were brought to the nearby Bharati Arogya hospital. All injured are in stable condition.
