24-Year Old Mumbai Biker Dies After Being Struck By Trailer In Chhattisgarh

In the Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh, a young woman from Mumbai lost her life when a trailer struck her motorcycle in an accident that happened close to Marka Tola area on NH 30. The victim, 24-year-old Riddhi Thakkar, lived in Mumbai’s Kandivali West. At the time of the collision, she was traveling with 23 other women from Mumbai to Bastar. Her bike was struck by a trailer traveling in the opposite way, severely injuring her. An emergency call for help was placed to 112 after the collision. Thakkar was initially brought to a Charama health center for medical attention.

She was sent to a private hospital in Dhamtari as her health deteriorated, where medical professionals examined her and confirmed that she passed away due to her injuries.

For a post-mortem examination, Thakkar’s body has been transferred to the Dhamtari District Hospital. It will be given to her family after all formalities are finished.

The other women who were a member of the cycling group are being questioned by police, who have opened an investigation in relation to the accident.

The mayor of Dhamtari Municipal Corporation arrived at the scene after learning of the tragedy and told Thakkar’s family what had transpired. In the wake of the accident, he promised to provide the family with all help possible e.
