Yuzvendra Chahal Makes Headlines Again By Imitating This Famous Woman Cricketer

Manchester: Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has not been in the spotlight for several months, but young Delhi spin-bowling all-rounder Medhavi Bidhuri certainly has been making headlines. Now Chahal has once again gone viral on social media after imitating Bidhuri’s trademark style during an English county match.
Chahal is playing for Northamptonshire in the English County Championship. In a match that concluded at Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday, Chahal performed well in both innings as Northamptonshire registered a massive 316-run victory over Lancashire. Chahal took two wickets in the first innings and one in the second. Even more remarkably, Northamptonshire won a match at Old Trafford for the first time since 1999 — ending a 27-year wait.
Bidhuri has been in the news in recent days for her impressive performances with her leg-spin in the women’s Delhi Premier League, as well as for her attractive appearance and unique style of celebrating after taking wickets. After taking a wicket at Old Trafford, Chahal celebrated in Bidhuri’s trademark style.
Bidhuri wears jersey number 67, and a video that has gone viral on social media shows her repeatedly saying “6-7” while smiling and moving both hands up and down in her distinctive wicket celebration. Chahal imitated Bidhuri’s celebration at Old Trafford and quickly became a talking point in the media.
Chahal has represented India in 72 ODIs and 80 T20Is. He last played for India in 2023. In the IPL, Chahal is the leading wicket-taker of all time, with 233 wickets.
