Pakistan Signs $4 Billion Arms Export Deal With Libyan Military Force: Report

Pakistan has reportedly finalized a major arms agreement with Libya to supply military equipment valued at $4 billion to the Libyan National Army (LNA), including fighter jets, trainer aircraft and additional military hardware, according to officials in Islamabad. This deal represents one of the largest arms export contracts in Pakistan’s history and was negotiated during discussions between Pakistan’s military chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and the deputy commander of the LNA in Benghazi. The agreement has been reached despite a United Nations-imposed arms embargo on Libya.

Reports indicate that the deal includes the export of JF-17 multirole fighter jets, which were co-developed with China, Super Mushak trainer aircraft, and various other equipment for land, sea and air operations.
