According to India Today, which cited intelligence information, PKR 25 crore was purportedly handed in cash installments for the base’s rehabilitation. The study states that damaged domes were restored and impact craters in the base’s central hall were filled. Rebuilding the central hall reportedly cost about PKR 11 crore.
When compared to the images the news channel accessed in April of this year, the most recent images demonstrate a notable pace in rebuilding. According to reports, the video showed construction trucks and large gear at the site while the broken domes were being repaired. India was able to access high-resolution imagery in May, a month later. The domes were darker today, according to TV, suggesting that the buildings had just undergone cement work. According to the latest images, the complex appears to be operational again, the damaged structures have been renovated, and the debris has been removed. This indicates that the restoration process has advanced significantly.
The compound has functioned as a center for terror indoctrination and training, including recruit religious education, frequent handling of weapons, and physical exercises. Following Operation Sindoor, terror groups such as JeM, HM, and LeT are said to have moved their bases to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province of Pakistan.
