New York : US President Donald Trump invited a group of pastors from across the country to the White House, where they prayed with him in the Oval Office amid the ongoing war with Iran. A video released on Thursday shows several pastors surrounding the President, placing their hands on him as they prayed, while Trump stood at the centre of the group.
Tom Mullins, was seen saying, We pray for wisdom from heaven to flood his heart, his mind, and the Lord. You will guide him in these challenging times that we’re facing today. I pray for your grace and your protection over him. Pray for your grace and protection of our troops and all of our men and women serving in our armed forces, and Father, we just pray you’ll continue to give our President the strength that he needs to lead our great nation as we come back to one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all, the prayer continued.
The prayer gathering came as the United States recently launched Operation Epic Fury against Iran, an action Washington said was aimed at thwarting Tehran’s attempt to develop nuclear weapons. The operation killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, among others, and damaged critical military infrastructure.
