HYBE Criticized for Ignoring V’s Solo Triumphs in BTS 7 Moment Visualiser
Seoul : The famous worldwide K-pop band BTS is always in the light, after the long wait BTS members are finally set to reunite in June this year. All the Seven members will be done with their mandatory military service. To surprise the fans BigHit Music had release a teaser trailer for the BTS 7 Moments on 17th March 3D visualizer project, leading towards the something special on the way .
The teaser was seemingly meant to celebrate the individual artistry of all seven members, however the eagle-eyed fans noticed an issue as every member was represented by the cover image of their solo projects, V, aka Kim Teahyung’s image was noticeably different. The 25 second long video was surely a moment to celebrate for all the ARMYs as they were truly anticipated about what was set to come, but eventually criticised it.
The fans expressed, instead of using one from his solo album or anything related to his music, the agency used a totally unrelated picture from a magazine shoot, which left the fans angry. The outraged ARMYs took to the social media once again to criticise the HYBE , BigHit’s parent company for neglecting V’s achievements. Given the extensive music content he has released, fans were puzzled by the company’s decision to use an unrelated image instead of highlighting his artistic contributions. This isn’t the first time HYBE has faced criticism for its handling of V, and with this latest decision, the controversy only intensifies.
Kim Teahyung’s work front , the BTS star made his solo debut in 2023 with his album Layover. Despite being in the military, the K-pop idol released two singles, White Christmas and Winter Ahead, in December last year.
