China Expert Warns of ‘Something Worse Than COVID’ After US Fungus Case

China : A top US based expert on China has warned of another significant warfare worse than Covid is the United Stats does not exercise caution days after two Chinese individuals were arrested for smuggling a toxic fungus into the US.

The Two Chinese individuals named Yunqing Jian agd 33 and her boyfriend Zunyong Liu 34 allegedly conspired to smuggle into the US a fungus called” Fusarium graminearum” that causes”head blight” a disease o wheat, barley,maize and rice.

The US Justice Department has contended that the fungus in scientific literature is known as the “potential agroterrorism weapon”. The couple had previously conducted work on the fungus in China. Gordon G Chang said that couple’s actions mounted to waging war against the US. He further added that if US doesn’t take adverse steps like severing ties with China, it may be hit with ‘something worse than Covid’.
