Netflix To Stream BTS Comeback Concert, Documentary ‘BTS: The Return’

Streaming giant Netflix has secured exclusive rights to broadcast global K-pop powerhouse BTS’s highly anticipated return, featuring a landmark live concert and an in-depth documentary film.

The platform will livestream BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang on March 21, 2026. This marks the group’s first full-group performance in nearly four years, following their hiatus for mandatory military service and solo endeavors. The special one-day event takes place at Seoul’s historic Gwanghwamun Square, with the show streaming in real time to fans worldwide. It celebrates the release of their new fifth studio album, Arirang, which drops the day prior on March 20.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Hamish Hamilton, known for major live productions, the concert represents Netflix’s first-ever global livestream originating from South Korea.

Just six days later, on March 27, 2026, Netflix premieres BTS: The Return, a feature-length documentary directed by Bao Nguyen. The film provides intimate, behind-the-scenes access as the seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—reunite, including their time in Los Angeles crafting new music. It chronicles the creative process behind Arirang and reflects on their journey from Korean idols to worldwide icons.
