The highly anticipated return of BTS is drawing global attention, with their upcoming Gwanghwamun concert set to reach audiences worldwide through a live broadcast.
In a major development for fans, the main promotional poster for “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG” has been released. The event is scheduled for a live stream starting at 8 p.m. on March 21. The striking poster highlights the group’s commanding presence, building excitement for their complete reunion performance. The design incorporates lighting elements that reference their forthcoming fifth full-length album, titled “Arirang” (ARIRANG), which has already generated significant buzz since its announcement, further fueling anticipation for fresh tracks to be showcased live.
Netflix will provide exclusive real-time coverage of the concert, transmitting the electric atmosphere from Gwanghwamun Square and its surrounding areas in Seoul directly to viewers across the planet. This marks a historic milestone for the platform, as it represents Netflix’s inaugural live event and its first-ever transmission of a music concert originating from Korea to an international audience.

The production is being helmed by renowned director Hamish Hamilton, widely regarded as an expert in large-scale live spectacles. His credits include directing the Emmy Awards, Grammy Awards, Academy Awards (Oscars), Super Bowl Halftime Show, the 2012 London Summer Olympics opening ceremony, and major performances by artists such as Madonna, Beyoncé, and Rihanna. BTS is preparing to drop their fifth studio album, “Arirang” (ARIRANG), on March 20. The 14-track project delves into profound themes including the members’ sense of identity, yearning, and heartfelt affection, resonating on a universal level.
The following evening, on March 21 at 8 p.m., the group will stage their comeback concert in the Gwanghwamun Square vicinity, with an estimated 22,000 attendees expected on site.
