Anti-Trump protesters rally in New York, Washington and elsewhere across country

From Anti-Trump protesters rallied across the U.S. on Saturday, from New York to Anchorage, denouncing President Trump’s policies as threats to democracy. Marches filled Manhattan, Washington, and Portland, while in Massachusetts, demonstrators joined a Revolutionary War reenactment to protest. In Washington, retiree Bob Fasick rallied against cuts to Social Security and health programs, warning of a bleak future if inaction persists.

In Columbia, South Carolina, protesters held signs like “Fight Fiercely, Harvard, Fight,” while Manhattan marchers chanted “No fear, no hate, no ICE in our state” against deportations.
