A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Uttarakhand at 10:30 pm on Tuesday, and tremors were felt across several parts of northern India, including Delhi-NCR, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana.
Initial reports said the quake was recorded around 22 km from Khadun Laga Gawali in Uttarakhand.
Tremors felt in neighbouring states
Tremors were reported in Delhi and nearby areas, where residents briefly experienced shaking. Similar reports came in from parts of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
