‘God Knows How Many Parts Pakistan Will Be Divided’, Rajnath Singh Warns Pakistan Over Kolkata Threat

New Delhi: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif was warned by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh over his remarks on targeting Kolkata, calling the remarks provocative and cautioning Islamabad against repeating past mistakes which they should not do again.

Rajnath Singh said, ” Pakistan’s Defence Minister should not have given a provocative statement. 55 years ago, they suffered the consequences when Pakistan was divided into two parts. If they try to cast an evil eye on Bengal, only God knows how many parts Pakistan will be divided into this time.”

The response comes after Asif warned that Pakistan could strike Kolkata in the event of any “future misadventure” by India. Speaking in Sialkot, Asif said,” If India attempts another false-flag operation, then, God willing, we will take it to Kolkata.”

He also alleged that India would be planning to carry out any false operation to blame Pakistan even if they don’t provide any proof.

Tensions have remained the same since the pahalgam attack between the two nations in which 26 civilians were killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists. Later on, India’s retaliatory military confrontation took place between May 7 and 10.

After the terrorist attack, India leveled up its doctrine wherein it stated New Delhi will not distinguish between terrorist groups and Pakistan’s military leadership.
