The act of Raghav Chadha’s joining in BJP and leaving from AP party has sent shockwaves across the youngsters upsetting them from this drastic shift which has impacted in social media.
Within 24 hours of announcing his joining in BJP Party has led to major loss of follower counts in Raghav Chadha’s Instagram Account. Politicians who once had followers of about 14.6 million had lost almost 1.2 million followers in the past 24 hours.
In the era of online politics, the digital presence reflects public sentiment and the downfall of the followers significantly shows how upset the GenZ are. Once the same genz supported him for being too vocal about raising his voice for public issues viewing him as the most relatable young political leader in India.
Before the switch, he gained a handsome amount of attention making youngsters believe he is the person whom they can look upon for their problems to be resolved.

Observers believe many young supporters have trended hashtag #unfollowRaghavChadha. simply meant to unfollow him as young supporters felt ideologically disconnected from his new political alignment which they didn’t think of.
