PM Modi On A Visit To Seychelles From Tommorow

From the 27th to the 29th of this month, PM Modi will be on a State Visit to the Seychelles as the Guest of Honor for the Golden Jubilee festivities of the National Day of Seychelles. 2015 was the Prime Minister’s most recent trip to the Seychelles. Two Indian Navy ships and a force of the Indian Armed Forces will take part in the festivities, according to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs.

The Prime Minister will meet with Dr. Patrick Herminie, the President of the Seychelles, during the visit to discuss the entire range of bilateral cooperation and share opinions on regional and global topics of shared interest. In addition, he will speak to the Seychelles National Assembly and engage with Indian diaspora people.

India and the Seychelles have a long-standing relationship based on common cultural, historical, and interpersonal links. Seychelles has a special place in India’s Vision MAHASAGAR (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions) and its dedication to the Global South as a major maritime neighbor in the Indian Ocean Region. The visit will underline the two nations’ enduring friendship and their mutual commitment to deepening bilateral relations in all areas.
