New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday remembered freedom fighter Veer Savarkar on his birth anniversary and praised his dedication towards the country. In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister stated that Savarkar’s bravery and patriotism would always motivate people across the nation.
According to ANI, PM Modi said that Veer Savarkar devoted his life to the cause of India’s independence and left behind a lasting legacy of courage and national service.

BJP Leaders Remember Savarkar’s Contribution
Several Bharatiya Janata Party leaders also paid homage to Veer Savarkar on the occasion. They highlighted his role in the freedom struggle and acknowledged his contribution as a writer, social reformer, and nationalist leader.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also remembered Savarkar and said his commitment to nationalism and social reform continues to inspire the youth of the country.
Remembering Veer Savarkar’s Legacy
Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, popularly known as Veer Savarkar, was a prominent freedom fighter, author, and political thinker. He was known for his revolutionary activities during the Indian independence movement and spent years imprisoned in the Cellular Jail in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
His birth anniversary is observed every year by political leaders and supporters across the country.
