Modi Mantra: ‘Jo Khelega Wo Khilega’ — PM Modi Meets Commonwealth Games Medal Winners And Boosts Their Morale

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who on Saturday gave IIT students in the capital the valuable mantra, ‘Jo Seekhega Woh Jeetega’ (The one who learns will win), at an event, gave another inspiring mantra to the Commonwealth Games medal winners on Sunday: ‘Jo Khelega Woh Khilega’ (The one who plays will flourish).
PM Modi met the athletes and players who returned after winning 39 medals for India at the Commonwealth Games (CWG), held in Glasgow, Scotland, among 74 participating nations. He congratulated them warmly, wished them success in their future competitions and gave them the mantra, ‘Jo Khelega Woh Khilega’. Modi held a long interaction with the medal winners and personally congratulated them. Later, while sharing a video of the ceremony on Instagram, he also posted the mantra along with the hashtag ‘#AlwaysCheerForBharat’.
India finished fourth at the Commonwealth Games with a total of 39 medals — 13 gold, 17 silver and nine bronze — the same position the country secured at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. In the video shared by Modi, gold medallist Sakshi Chaudhary, along with other boxers and athletes, can be seen interacting with the Prime Minister.
