Delhi Model Stabbed to Death at Home; Gym Trainer Named as Accused

A 21-year-old woman was stabbed to death inside her residence in Delhi on Wednesday. Police have identified the accused as her gym trainer.

The victim, named Muskan, was a student and model. She was alone at home on the second floor of a building in Tilak Nagar, West Delhi, when the attack occurred. According to police, the accused, Imran, allegedly assaulted her with a knife before fleeing the scene.

Neighbours heard Muskan’s screams and rushed to her house. They found her lying in a pool of blood and took her to hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Gupta stated that officers are searching for the suspect and examining CCTV footage from the area as part of the investigation.

A friend of the victim, Aman, said Muskan was the youngest of three sisters. Her elder sister, who is currently in Chandigarh, contacted him and asked him to go to the house after learning that someone had stabbed Muskan. Aman said he immediately arranged for help, but by the time he arrived an ambulance had already taken her away.

Aman further stated that Muskan’s sisters had told him Imran used to harass her. He added that a similar incident had occurred in the past, which led to suspicion falling on the trainer following the attack.

Police continue to investigate the case.
