Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim Meets LoP Rahul Gandhi And Priyanka Vadra In Delhi

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, met Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim over breakfast in New Delhi on Sunday. The two leaders talked about India-Malaysia relations. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the general secretary of the Congress, attended the meeting as well.

As Malaysia’s delegate to the 2026 BRICS Summit in New Delhi, Ibrahim is in India. Within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Malaysia is a significant ally of India and a member of the BRICS.

Images of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra from their breakfast meeting with Ibrahim were made public by the Congress.

The conversation took place one day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Malaysian leader on the fringes of the BRICS Summit to discuss commerce, semiconductors, infrastructure, and defense cooperation.
