Kolkata’s 70 Foot Messi Statue Comes Down As Cranes Begin Dismantling Work

Kolkata: The giant 70 foot statue of football legend Lionel Messi is gradually disappearing from Kolkata’s skyline as authorities have started dismantling the structure with the help of cranes.

The towering tribute, which drew attention from football fans and curious onlookers alike, had become a recognizable landmark since its installation. However, workers have now begun removing the statue section by section, with large cranes moving in to carry out the operation safely.
