Indian Railways are praised to have a wide connectivity within the nation and is set to introduce an international connection with a spice of amusement. Bharat Gaurav tourist train has launched a 10-day trip from India to Nepal, regarded as the ‘Pashupathinath Nepal Darshan Yatra’ it will connect the travellers to Nepal’s iconic tourist points, where tourists will explore cultural destinations including Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan National Park. IRCTC took this step with the intent of promoting theme-based special rail trips and this move will strengthen the ties between the countries of India and Nepal.
Here are the important details for the trip, as per IRCTC’s official website, the inaugural journey will begin from Indore on 12th June, 2026. Designed as a 9 nights and 10 days trip it will include train travel, accommodation, sight-visits, meals, etc. The route covers Kathmandu, Pashupathinath Temple, Pokhara, Mankamna Temple, Chitwan National Park and more.
The package includes the visit to spiritual hubs of Nepal with natural attractions; the travellers will experience the classic ropeway ride to Mankamna Temple which is a Hindu pilgrimage situated at the top of the hill of Nepal. A jeep-ride at Chitwan National Park in which a variety of wildlife resides like Bengal tigers, rhinos, elephants and more. The centre of appeal will be the trip to Pashupathinath Temple in Kathmandu, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and thousands of Indian devotees gather here for spiritual connection. Moreover, the trip will also include Pokhara which is also considered to be a prime point of attraction.
The boarding stations are from Madhya Pradesh and the passengers can board from Indore, Ujjain, Shujalpur, Sehore, Bhopal, Itarsi, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna. The fares prices (at the time of writing):
