IndiGo’s Delhi-Pune flight receives Hoax Bomb Threat, Handwritten Note in Lavatory

Pune : On Thursday, IndiGo Flight 6E 2608 which was operating from Delhi to Pune, received a bomb threat upon arrival at Pune Airport. The threat was found in the aircraft’s lavatory in the form of a handwritten note. All the passengers were deboarded safely after the flight landed at the Pune Airport as per the sources.

The flight that was scheduled to arrive at 8:40 pm, landed at 9:24 pm and was parked at Bay No. 3 at 9:27 pm. Following which the Air Traffic Control (ATC) conveyed the information to the Apron Control.
Subsequently, the aircraft was then moved to the isolation bay and Apron Control spontaneously alerted all concerned agencies, and the Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) was called upon. After thorough evaluation, the aircraft was thoroughly checked by the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS).

“During the security checks, no suspicious or any threat was found by the team and after the clearance of the whole procedure the aircraft was sent back to normal operations. With proper co-ordination and timely manner the situation was under control and no further incident took place,” the official added.
Officials informed that the crew and customers were deboarded safely though nothing suspicious was found after thorough checks.
