Gandhinagar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that various parts of Gujarat are likely to witness isolated to scattered rainfall along with thunderstorms during the next six days.
Speaking about the forecast, IMD scientist Pradeep Sharma said that weather conditions across the state are expected to remain favourable for rainfall activity. Several regions may experience rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong winds during this period.
Rainfall Expected in Multiple Districts
According to the IMD, different districts across Gujarat could receive rainfall of varying intensity over the coming days. The forecast suggests that isolated to scattered showers are likely to occur as pre-monsoon weather activity continues to strengthen across the state.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are also expected in several areas. Authorities have advised residents to stay updated with official weather bulletins and alerts.
Relief From Heat Conditions
The anticipated rainfall is expected to provide some respite from the hot weather conditions that have affected many parts of Gujarat in recent weeks. Weather experts have linked the change in conditions to increasing moisture and evolving atmospheric systems influencing the region.
IMD Monitoring Weather Developments
The India Meteorological Department continues to closely monitor weather patterns and issue regular forecasts. IMD scientist Pradeep Sharma stated that rainfall and thunderstorm activity is likely to continue intermittently over the next six days, affecting different parts of the state.
Residents are encouraged to follow updates issued by the weather department and take necessary precautions during thunderstorm activity.
