Fresh Twist In Jaipur Murder Case: Uncle Alleges Daughter Also Behind Father’s Death, Seeks Fresh Probe
Jaipur: The sensational Jaipur murder case has taken a dramatic new turn, with fresh allegations that the accused daughter may also have played a role in her father’s death. The claim has been made by Rakesh Sharma, the victim Neeraj Sharma’s brother, who has approached both the police and a court seeking an investigation into the death of his brother-in-law, Vijay Sharma. Authorities have not confirmed these allegations, and no charges have been filed in connection with Vijay Sharma’s death so far.
According to Rakesh Sharma, Vijay Sharma, a Court Master at the Rajasthan High Court, had been seriously ill but was reportedly recovering. He has alleged that his niece, Ayushi Sharma, prevented her father from receiving proper medical treatment, raising suspicions over the circumstances surrounding his death. Rakesh has urged investigators to examine whether Vijay’s death was natural or if there was any criminal conspiracy involved.
The fresh allegations come just days after Jaipur Police arrested 23 year old Ayushi Sharma along with several others for allegedly conspiring to murder her mother, 45 year old Neeraj Sharma. Police claim the accused hired contract killers for around ₹7 lakh and staged the murder as a road accident by using an SUV to run over Neeraj on July 3. Investigators allege the motive was to gain control of family property and secure a government job under the compassionate appointment scheme.
The investigation has revealed that relations between Neeraj and Ayushi had deteriorated over the past several months. Police say the two frequently argued over property and employment benefits, while investigators are also examining evidence suggesting multiple alleged attempts to eliminate Neeraj before the fatal incident.
Speaking about the latest development, Rakesh Sharma has maintained that he suspected foul play from the very beginning. He has now demanded that investigators examine both deaths together to determine whether they are connected. According to him, the family’s ordeal did not begin with Neeraj’s killing and there are unanswered questions surrounding Vijay Sharma’s demise that deserve a thorough investigation.
Police have so far arrested seven accused in connection with Neeraj Sharma’s murder, while another suspect remains absconding. Investigators continue to rely on CCTV footage, technical evidence and witness statements collected during the probe. However, officials have not announced any fresh FIR or charges relating to Vijay Sharma’s death, and the allegations made by Rakesh Sharma are yet to be independently verified.
The case has triggered widespread public attention due to the nature of the allegations and the alleged motive involving family property and compassionate employment. The latest claims by Rakesh Sharma are expected to intensify scrutiny of the investigation as authorities decide whether a fresh probe into Vijay Sharma’s death is warranted.
