Kathua (Jammu and Kashmir): At least four personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have reportedly been killed in a suspected fratricide incident in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. The firing took place between personnel at the Sewa Power Project CISF camp in the Mashka area of Basoli.
The deceased have been identified as Assistant Commandant Ankit Kumar Pandey, Sub-Inspector Lakshman Singh, Constable Rafiq Ahmed and Constable Sandeep Kumar.
According to initial information, the incident is believed to have followed a shooting within the force. The circumstances leading up to it remain unclear.
