Bengaluru Horror Case: Blindfolded, Hand Tied And Boyfriend Burnt Alive

Bengaluru: A shocking incident from Bengaluru has emerged, where a 27-year-old woman allegedly murdered her boyfriend by tying him up and setting him on fire inside her residence. According to a report by India Today, the police believe the crime may have been planned in advance.

The victim, identified as Kiran, had visited the woman’s home in the Anjanapura area on Tuesday afternoon when she was alone. As per police accounts, the accused, named Prema, told him she intended to propose to him in a “western style,” a gesture she claimed would involve a dramatic expression of love.

Investigators said she then tied his hands and legs with a rope and blindfolded him. When Kiran reportedly questioned the act, she reassured him that it was part of the planned proposal. However, the situation quickly turned fatal. The woman allegedly poured kerosene over him and set him ablaze, leading to his death on the spot due to severe burn injuries.

Reports cited by India Today, along with inputs from agencies, suggest that the accused was upset with the victim, allegedly feeling ignored in their relationship. The two had been involved for some time, and tensions had reportedly escalated in recent days.

Police officials have taken the woman into custody and are continuing their investigation to determine the full sequence of events and the motive behind the killing. The case has sent shockwaves through the city, highlighting the extreme turn a personal relationship dispute can take.

Authorities are expected to gather further evidence and statements as part of the ongoing probe, while forensic examinations and questioning continue to piece together the circumstances leading up to the crime.
