Anurag Dobhal’s “Lungs Partially Damaged” After Accident

Popular YouTuber and former Bigg Boss 17 contestant Anurag Dobhal remains under close medical supervision following a major car accident, with his condition taking a serious downturn in recent days.

According to an update shared by his manager, Rohit Panday, on Instagram Stories on Saturday, Anurag’s health had appeared stable earlier in the day but worsened significantly due to complications arising from the crash. Panday explained that the influencer’s lungs suffered partial damage during the incident, which subsequently led to a severe infection. This has resulted in a diagnosis of severe pneumonia. Anurag is now receiving ongoing care and monitoring from doctors.

In his post, Panday appealed to fans and well-wishers, requesting prayers for Anurag’s recovery. “We would request you all to pray for him,” he wrote.

The setback comes shortly after a more positive development: On Thursday, Panday had informed followers that Anurag had been shifted out of the intensive care unit (ICU). He accompanied that update with a hospital photo showing the YouTuber lying in bed, smiling and making a peace sign gesture toward the camera, suggesting signs of improvement at that stage.

The accident occurred when Anurag crashed his car while streaming live on Instagram. In the moments leading up to the incident, he made emotional statements, including a poignant message directed at his mother about love in a future life, before referring to it as his “final drive” and accelerating. The crash followed a period of public distress for the content creator, who had earlier posted an emotional YouTube video levelling allegations of mental harassment against certain family members. He attributed much of his stress to issues surrounding his interfaith marriage to wife Ritika Dobhal.

In the immediate aftermath, Panday had emphasised that the priority was Anurag’s recovery and the well-being of his pregnant wife, who was nearing full term. The manager had declined to comment on the family-related video or statements, stating it was not the appropriate time.

As Anurag faces this latest health challenge, supporters continue to follow updates closely through his team’s social media posts.
