Water Supply Disruption In Ahmedabad Today Evening Till Tomorrow Morning, These Areas To Face Maximum Impact

Ahmedabad: Several areas in eastern and western Ahmedabad are likely to experience disrupted water supply on Wednesday (February 11). Due to urgent maintenance work being undertaken at the Kotarpur Water Treatment Plant, authorities have decided to shut down the facility for 8 hours. This shutdown will result in insufficient water supply to more than 15 areas across the city, potentially causing water scarcity for residents.

Reduced Pressure Supply From Today Till Tomorrow Morning

As the plant maintenance work is scheduled to continue until 4 PM today (February 10), its direct impact will be visible on Wednesday morning’s water distribution. Since the system will be shut down after today’s morning water supply, pressure in the pipelines will decrease. In view of this situation, the Municipal Corporation has informed that water will be supplied at extremely low pressure on the morning of February 11. However, once the repair work is completed, water supply across the entire city will be restored as per schedule and with adequate pressure from Wednesday onwards.

Areas in North Ahmedabad such as Motera, Chandkheda, Sabarmati and Stadium will also receive water at low pressure, and residents have been advised to store water according to their requirements and use it judiciously.
