Do’s and Don’ts while avoiding heat
In order to avoid heat, do not step out in direct sunlight after getting out of AC. Immediate exposure to sunlight after coming out from air-conditioned surroundings can be harmful for health. In such cases, turn off the AC and wait for your body’s temperature to return to normal before stepping outside in sunlight.
Do not drink cold water after immediately coming back from sunlight. In such cases, drink plain water or matka (pot) water. Drink cold water when the body temperature cools down. Try to not step outside in the afternoons. If it is necessary to do so, then cover your head with a cotton cloth and wear light-colored comfortable clothes.
