Due to this, the government of Gujarat has taken strict measures against those who are spreading fake news through social media. Speaking on this matter, Home Minister of Gujarat Harsh Sanghavi appealed to the citizens to not pay attention to rumors or fake messages. He added that correct information would be provided by the district administration.
Meanwhile, a police complaint has been filed against 4 people who made posts on social media networks that undermine the morale of the army. The Home Department is keeping a close eye on those who are involved in posting such content.
The Home Minister has also posted a video on this issue. In the video, he said that on Thursday (May 8), an FIR was filed against 4 people in various districts of Gujarat who made anti-national posts on social media, which undermine the morale of the forces.
He stated that such behavior would not be tolerated in Gujarat. The Gujarat police has been instructed to keep a close watch on such social media posts and to take strict action against such people if any such posts come to their notice.
