Over the past few days, relentless rain has soaked the region, and on Thursday, June 26, from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., 50 districts recorded significant rainfall. The heaviest downpours hit Mahuva in Surat with 4.65 inches, Visavadar in Junagadh with 4.13 inches, Chikhli in Navsari with 3.98 inches, Bardoli in Surat with 3.46 inches, and Kamrej in Surat with 2.95 inches.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), an orange alert has been issued for June 26 in Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, and Chhotaudepur, signaling heavy rainfall. A yellow alert is in place for Amreli, Bhavnagar, Sabarkantha, Panchmahal, Narmada, Navsari, and Valsad, while other districts are expected to experience moderate showers.

From June 27 to 29, the IMD predicts torrential rains across Kutch, Morbi, Devbhumi Dwarka, Jamnagar, Patan, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, Navsari, Valsad, Gandhinagar, and Panchmahal districts.
Forecast for June 30 and July 1
On June 30, heavy rainfall is expected in Valsad, Navsari, Tapi, Dang, Banaskantha, Amreli, and Bhavnagar. On July 1, the IMD has issued a heavy rain alert for Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Valsad, Bhavnagar, and Amreli districts.
