Gujarat Sees Second Day of Slight Heat Relief, Temperatures Hover Around 40 Degrees
After peaking near 43°C two days ago, the maximum temperature in Gujarat has now eased to around 40°C, offering much-needed respite from the heat.

Ahmedabad: Residents of Gujarat are experiencing some respite from the intense summer heat for the second consecutive day. After temperatures climbed close to 43 degrees Celsius earlier in the week, the maximum has now dropped to around 40 degrees, offering partial relief.
According to data from the Meteorological Department, maximum temperatures across Gujarat ranged from 31.4 degrees to 40.7 degrees Celsius. Kandla Port recorded the highest at 40.7 degrees, followed by Kandla Airport at 40.2 degrees. Other cities also experienced high temperatures, with Dwarka reaching 39.4 degrees, Ahmedabad at 39.2 degrees, and Gandhinagar at 39.1 degrees.
In Ahmedabad, while mornings have been relatively cool, the heat intensifies as the day progresses. The Meteorological Department has forecast a further decrease of 2-3 degrees in maximum temperatures over the next three days, potentially bringing more comfort to the region.
