From Bharatsinh Solanki To Nitin Patel: Unified Support Of Party Leaders For Army’s Action Against Terrorists

Ahmedabad: In a strong retaliatory move, the Indian Armed Forces carried out precision airstrikes late Tuesday night under Operation Sindoor, targeting nine terrorist camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These strikes were in response to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 innocent people, including three from Gujarat, lost their lives. The airstrikes have received widespread political support, cutting across party lines.
Gujarat Congress leader Bharatsinh Solanki expressed full backing for the government’s actions, stating that the fight against terrorism is beyond politics. He added that the opposition stands with the Centre in any step that strengthens national security. Referring to past examples, Solanki recalled that during former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s time, India had taken similarly strong actions against terrorism, and today’s strikes are equally deserving of praise.
Former Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel also welcomed Operation Sindoor, saying it fulfilled the hopes of 140 crore Indians. He remarked that after the Pahalgam attack, there was a nationwide demand for justice, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to respond firmly. Patel called Pakistan a failed state that shelters terrorists and refuses to hand them over to India. He also highlighted that India has already started choking Pakistan economically, including restricting its access to river water.
He warned that Pakistan’s agriculture would suffer without Indian water supply and said that, in the near future, it would be forced to beg for basic resources. Patel added that global leaders like Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin have extended their support to India, calling the operation a major diplomatic success and a testament to the leadership of Modi, Shah, and Rajnath Singh.
Operation Sindoor was launched exactly 15 days after the Pahalgam attack, where terrorists had brutally killed civilians after allegedly asking for their religion. The name “Operation Sindoor” serves as a symbolic tribute to the victims, especially women who lost their loved ones in the attack. The Indian Army later declared that justice had been delivered.
According to military sources, the airstrikes used advanced drones and guided missiles to specifically destroy terrorist hideouts and infrastructure. Special care was taken to avoid any Pakistani military installations, as the operation was strictly aimed at terror networks.
