Jamnagar: A dramatic incident unfolded on Ranjit Sagar Road in Jamnagar when a mini truck loaded with dry grass caught fire after coming into contact with an overhead power line late in the evening. The spark from the collision caused the dry grass in the truck to ignite instantly. Reacting swiftly, the driver made a split-second decision to steer the burning vehicle straight into the waters of the nearby Ranjit Sagar Dam. He then jumped out of the truck and into the water himself.
Thanks to his quick response, the fire was extinguished before it could spread further or cause harm. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Eyewitnesses passing by captured the entire event on video, which has since gone viral on social media. The public has widely praised the driver for his presence of mind and timely action.
