During the proceedings of the Assembly, the Assembly speaker Shankar Chaudhary reprimanded the members and told the MLAs and ministers not to talk among themselves, like a class teacher. He added that it is not supposed to be taught to them; they should know how to behave and sit properly.
He also especially lambasted the Home Minister of Gujarat, Harsh Sanghavi, and MLA Kirit Patel.
Apparently, the Assembly speaker Shankar Chaudhary got disappointed by the behaviour of the members, and had to criticise them like a teacher in order to maintain decorum.
On last Thursday, after MLA Kanti Amrutia, MLA Alpesh Thakor was also reproached for clicking pictures during the Assembly. Chaudhary had made it clear and instructed everyone not to click pictures or bring mobile phones in the Assembly.
He had also added that from the next time, the MLA engaging in such behaviours would be directly expelled from the Assembly.
It has been observed that during the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly, many members are busy using their phones, attending a call or clicking pictures.
The speaker despises such behaviour.
