Hanuman Ansh 2: Producer Namrata Singh Opens Up on Virat-Anushka Cameo Buzz

Hanuman Ansh producer Namrata Singh has addressed speculation about whether Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma could make cameo appearances in the upcoming sequel to the film. In a recent interview, she confirmed that the project was always envisioned as a trilogy and spoke about what each part will focus on. Namrata also revealed that the third instalment will explore how Neem Karoli Baba’s spiritual influence reached audiences worldwide.

Asked in an interview with Bollywood Hungama whether celebrities like Virat and Anushka could appear in a cameo in the film’s second part, Namrata said, “I have reached out to some of them and they were aware of the film earlier (sic).” Virat and Anushka are known to share a spiritual connection with Neeb Karori Baba and have visited his Kainchi Dham on multiple occasions.

She went on to explain that her priority is to first focus on Indian devotees before expanding the story to a global audience. “There are thousands of devotees whose life he touched in India and they come first, without doubt. The Kainchi story is about the Indian devotees. The third film will focus on how he put India on the global map by spiritual energy that he transferred to the foreigners, be it Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, Julia Roberts, etc.,” Namrata said.

She reiterated that the film was conceived as a trilogy from the outset. The first part traced Maharaj Ji’s early life leading up to Kainchi Dham, while the second part will centre on the events at Kainchi Dham itself. The third instalment will focus on international stories and his impact on devotees abroad. The producer added that the makers already “know the concept” and have a clear vision for how the second and third parts will take shape.
