Bollywood Star Vineet Kumar Singh Safely Back in Mumbai After Dubai Airport Delay

Mumbai : Bollywood actor Vineet Kumar Singh, celebrated for his roles in Mukkabaaz and Chhaava, safely returned to Mumbai early Tuesday morning after being stranded at Dubai International Airport due to a temporary airspace closure across parts of the Middle East. The actor landed around 3:45 AM IST, following a tense night marked by uncertainty.
Singh recounted the confusion at the airport: “Around 10 PM, we were completely in the dark about what was happening. Then we got word that boarding had begun. The flight took off a bit late, but everything turned out fine. The staff at Emirates Airlines and Dubai airport were incredibly supportive.” His flight, originally scheduled to depart at 9:40 PM on Monday, was delayed due to the regional disruptions.
The airspace restrictions in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait were enforced as a precautionary measure following Iran’s launch of at least six missiles targeting U.S. bases in Qatar, amid escalating regional tensions. Authorities described the closures as temporary, but they caused significant disruptions to air travel, particularly at Dubai, a major global aviation hub.
