Tiger Shroff Firing: 10 Day Surveillance Suspected As Three Arrested In Rajasthan

Mumbai: The firing at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai may have been preceded by nearly 10 days of surveillance, with investigators suspecting that the alleged attackers tracked his routine, surveyed locations he frequented and planned their escape in advance. Three suspects have been arrested in Rajasthan as police investigate the alleged conspiracy and a possible connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening, October 18, near Pushpa Narsee Park in Mumbai’s Juhu area, where Shroff reportedly plays football regularly. The actor escaped without gunshot injuries, while two other people were reported injured.
Who Are the Three Arrested Suspects?
The arrested men have been identified in media reports as Phool Singh, 17, Hrithik Kumar, 22, also known as Roshan, and Rehan, 18. Reports identify Phool Singh and Rehan as being from Haryana’s Sonipat district, while Kumar reportedly hails from Bihar’s Begusarai district and worked as a Rapido rider in Mumbai’s Andheri West area.
The suspects were reportedly arrested at Kota railway station by Rajasthan’s Anti Gangster Task Force and Kota City Police while travelling aboard the Pune-Jaipur Express. Investigators are examining reports that they were heading towards Delhi and allegedly intended to escape to Nepal.
How Was the Attack Allegedly Planned?
According to reports citing investigative sources, the suspects may have monitored Shroff’s movements for approximately 10 days. They allegedly conducted reconnaissance near his residence and gym and may have used paparazzi videos and publicly available social media content to understand his routine.
Investigators suspect the accused knew about his regular Sunday football sessions and waited near the venue before targeting his vehicle. Reports suggest the alleged shooters spent around 45 minutes in the area before opening fire.
Three men are suspected of involvement, with two allegedly firing at the vehicle and the third helping facilitate their escape. Reports indicate that seven rounds were fired, although these details should be confirmed against official police statements.
Motorcycle Escape and Digital Evidence
The suspects allegedly fled on a motorcycle that was later abandoned near Andheri West railway station. Police are examining CCTV footage, digital communications and the suspects movements to reconstruct the sequence of events and identify any alleged accomplices.
Investigators are also reportedly examining whether messaging applications, including WhatsApp and Signal, were used to communicate with other individuals.
Possible Bishnoi Gang Link Under Probe
Messages reportedly claiming responsibility in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have raised questions about a possible organised crime connection. However, the authenticity of those claims and any alleged link between the arrested men and the wider network must be independently established.
The arrests represent a significant development, but crucial questions remain who allegedly ordered the shooting, what was the motive, and whether others helped plan or finance the attack. These aspects remain under investigation, and the accused are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
