Mumbai: Actress Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya have reportedly parted ways discreetly, shortly after a widely discussed moment at singer-rapper AP Dhillon’s Mumbai concert sparked online buzz, according to a Filmfare report.
The publication stated that the couple has “quietly ended” their romance, though the precise cause remains unknown. The development follows close on the heels of Tara Sutaria’s onstage appearance with AP Dhillon, which drew significant attention and speculation.
During the concert, Tara joined AP Dhillon for a performance, where he hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. In circulating video clips, she seemed somewhat reserved to observers. Veer Pahariya, present in the audience, was captured in footage that quickly spread across social media, with users interpreting his facial expressions as signs of discomfort.
The viral clips prompted widespread discussion, leading many to link the incident directly to the subsequent breakup reports. As of now, neither Tara Sutaria nor Veer Pahariya has issued an official statement confirming the split.

Earlier, both had publicly dismissed speculation arising from the concert video. Tara Sutaria posted a clip from the event on Instagram, defending their unity and condemning what she described as misleading portrayals. She wrote, “Loud and proud and in it together!!! @apdhillon FAV!!! What a night! Thank you, Mumbai for SO much love for our song and here’s to more music and memories together. P.S – False narratives, ‘clever editing’ and paid PR campaigns by folks won’t and don’t shake us up! In the end, love and the truth always win. So the joke’s on the bullies.”
Veer Pahariya echoed this in the comments, explaining that the footage of his reaction was misrepresented. He stated, “Not to mention the reaction footage of me was taken during another song, not even Thodi Si Daru. Jokers.”
The pair’s relationship reportedly began in 2025, with initial rumors emerging from sightings during private outings. They appeared together as showstoppers at a fashion event in March and officially acknowledged their romance during Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.
In a previous interview with Travel + Leisure India, Veer Pahariya spoke warmly of their connection, noting, “I love that we have embraced our affection and love since our first date and have never shied away from expressing how we feel wherever we are.” He recalled their early days: “It was probably our first date night, where I played the piano, and she sang until the sun came out.” Tara Sutaria added, “Sticking by each other through thick and thin as if we have known each other our whole lives.”
