Tanishaa Mukerji Opens Up on Big Boss Experience: ‘People Used My Family….

Actor Tanishaa Mukherji has spoken candidly about the emotional impact on her after Big Boss, revealing that she often held herself back to avoid dragging her family into unnecessary controversies.

In a recent interview, Tanishaa said she later realised that several contestants frequently mentioned her sister Kajol and her brother-in-law Ajay Devgn to gain visiblity on the show.

Reflecting on her time inside the house, she admitted that language barrier also affected how viewers perceived her. ‘A lot of my conversation were in English, and much of that never made it to air’, she shared.

She further recalled being hurt by comments questioning why her family never visited her inside the house. Responding to the criticism, Tanishaa pointed out that celebrity appearences on television are professional commitments and not informal visits.

Tanishaa also described reality television as emotionally exhausting, saying many relationship formed on such shows are built around shared stress and conflict rather than genuine connection.

The actor, who appeared on Big Boss 7, said the experience ultimately made her more guarded in real life.
