Good News has arrived at the doorstep of Kapoor’s Family. Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, marking a new chapter of their life. The couple shared this news on social media via post on instagram revealing their son was born on March 29, 2026.
On the arrival of the child, the couple wrote, ” With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby boy today, 29th of March 2026.” They added that their family has now grown into a family of four, with their message reflecting joy and gratitude for the new addition.
Big Brother Vayu Seems To be Enjoying
The couple also shared that their elder son, Vayu, is absolutely overjoyed to welcome his little brother and we feel deeply blessed by this precious new life who has filled our home with great happiness and grace. We are grateful to begin this beautiful new chapter as a family of four. With love, Sonam, Anand & Vayu.”
In 2022, Sonam and Anand welcomed Vayu and the newborn marks their second child together.
Industry congratulates couple
As soon as the news came out, congratulatory messages flooded in form across the film industry. Celebrities such as Kareena Kapoor Khan and several others extended their wishes , while Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor shared an emotional note saying his heart is full as he becomes a grandfather again.
The couple,who tied the knot in 2018, had announced their second pregnancy in November 2025. Now, the new chapter of their life has begun with a family of four as they put it out with happiness and grace.
