Mumbai : Wedding celebrations are set to take place in the Pawar family, with reports indicating that Revati Sule, granddaughter of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar and daughter of Baramati MP Supriya Sule, is preparing to get married. According to sources, Revati will soon tie the knot with businessman Sarang Arun Lakhani, bringing together two prominent families from Maharashtra’s political and business circles.
Buzz around the wedding has been steadily growing, with indications that the match was finalised with the involvement of senior political leaders. Reports suggest that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis played a mediatory role in facilitating the alliance. While no official confirmation has been issued by the families, the development has attracted widespread attention across political circles.
The first public mention of the upcoming wedding appeared on social media platform X, where Smriti Shinde, daughter of former Congress leader Sushil Kumar Shinde, shared a post hinting at the nuptials. However, details regarding the wedding date, venue, and guest list remain under wraps.
Sarang Lakhani hails from a well-known business family. He is the son of Arun Lakhani, chairman and managing director of the Vishvaraj Group, a company engaged in water sustainability projects, wastewater management, and road infrastructure development. Sarang has been associated with the Vishvaraj Group for over eight years and currently serves as its executive director. Prior to this, he worked as a business development consultant with Modern Hydrogen. Beyond his professional pursuits, Sarang is also known for his interest in sports and has represented India in several national and international badminton tournaments.
Revati Sule, the only child of Supriya Sule and Sadanand Sule, has a strong academic background, having graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She recently stepped into the political spotlight, actively participating in her mother’s campaign during the Baramati Lok Sabha elections.
While anticipation continues to build, the Pawar and Lakhani families are yet to make a formal announcement regarding the wedding festivities.
