Prabhas fans, mark your calendars. The promotional campaign for the much-awaited period war drama Fauzi is set to kick off later this month, promising high-impact content that could dominate social media and theatres alike.
Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi (Sita Ramam) and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Fauzi stars Prabhas as a fierce soldier described as “a battalion who fights alone.” The film is set against the turbulent backdrop of pre-Independence India in the 1940s, weaving history, patriotism, rebellion, and action. It draws inspiration from the era of the Azad Hind Fauj and the freedom struggle, with Prabhas portraying a character caught between duty, ideology, and personal sacrifice.
The makers have confirmed that new promotional assets are in the works, with a major glimpse video expected in the second half of September. Producer Naveen Yerneni has indicated that whatever content drops will create a sensation, building on the massive response to the blood-soaked first-look poster released earlier. That striking visual showing Prabhas in a rugged, battle-worn avatar seated amid fallen soldiers already set engagement records and fuelled fan frenzy.
Expect a multi-pronged campaign. New posters, character reveals, songs composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, and possibly a teaser will roll out steadily. The team plans extensive promotions across India, including Mumbai, North India, and other regions, to maximise pan-India reach. Prabhas himself is reportedly ready for a more active promotional strategy this time, travelling and engaging fans to build hype ahead of the December 3, 2026 worldwide release.
The supporting cast adds weight: debutante Imanvi opposite Prabhas, alongside veterans Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Anupam Kher. With grand premiere shows planned for December 2 in the Telugu states and a multilingual rollout (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam), Fauzi aims to be a large-scale theatrical event.
