Salman Khan Rules Out Biopic, Says His Life Story Will Remain Private

Actor Salman Khan has stated that a biopic based on his life will never be made, declaring that the details of his personal journey will stay with him.

Appearing on the opening episode of Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan 9, Salman discussed several aspects of his personal life. During a rapid-fire round that also featured Karisma Kapoor, he was asked who should direct a film based on his life and was given four options: Kabir Khan, David Dhawan, Sooraj Barjatya and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Salman responded by linking each director to a different style of storytelling. He said that if the film were a comedy, David Dhawan would be suitable; for a traditional tragic love story, Sanjay Leela Bhansali; for successive beautiful love stories, Sooraj Barjatya; and for an action-oriented love story reflecting various events in his life, Kabir Khan. He then added that a full biopic of his life would never be made, stating, “My life will go to my grave.”

In the same segment, when asked which actress he would like to work with in his final film, Salman clarified that he has no plans to retire from acting in the near future.

Karan Johar also reminded him of a previous comment on an earlier season of the show in which he had described himself as a virgin. Salman explained that he had used those words because he did not want to discuss his private life. He further shared that he prefers to keep his dating life away from public conversation, noting that one never knows whether a particular person will remain in one’s life permanently.

Salman is currently associated with the upcoming film Maatrubhumi, scheduled for release later this year, and SVC63, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and co-starring Nayanthara.
