Bollywood superstar Salman Khan expressed strong displeasure with paparazzi after they trailed him at a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday, an incident that quickly escalated onto social media.
In a widely circulated video, the actor was seen leaving the hospital premises visibly irritated as photographers called out his name. Salman responded with hand gestures and voiced his annoyance at their conduct. He later took to social media to articulate his position in a series of posts.

In one message, the actor noted that he has consistently supported members of the press, ensuring they could earn their livelihood. “If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain — the press I have stood for, interacted with, taken care of, and made sure also earn their bread and butter,” he wrote. He questioned whether capturing images was more important than respecting someone’s life during difficult moments, adding remarks referencing his upcoming film Maatrubhumi.
Salman made it clear that he would not tolerate intrusions into his private space. In a subsequent post, he warned, “Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai ke el bhai ke dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere saath. Bas try kar lena…..Jab tumhara koi Hospital mein hoga kya main aisa react karoonga?” He concluded with a characteristic defiant note: “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahin bhoola, yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein daaloge, haa haa……”

The outburst follows a reflective post Salman shared on Sunday, in which he posted a picture of himself resting on a sofa in a dimly lit room. The image, highlighting his physique, was accompanied by a caption pondering solitude: “By I me myself, 2 ways to be yr self, alone and lonely, alone is by choice and lonely when nobody wants to be with u……. Ab iske aage you figure out what you need to do.”
The message triggered speculation online, prompting Salman to clarify. “Arre yaar, main apne baare mein nahi baat kar raha tha. How can I be alone when I have such a large, amazing family and friends? How can I be lonely when I have you guys, your wishes and duas? I would be the biggest na-shukra ever,” he wrote. He explained that he occasionally seeks “me-time” after spending time with others and urged fans not to turn the casual post into breaking news, even mentioning his mother’s concerned reaction.
Salman recently appeared in a cameo role as Jiva Mahala in Raja Shivaji and is slated to feature in Maatrubhumi next.
