Mumbai – Nearly two months after becoming first-time parents, acclaimed Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have publicly shared the name of their newborn daughter: Parvati Paul Rao.
The couple made the heartfelt announcement through a joint social media post, writing, “With folded hands and full hearts, we introduce our greatest blessing… PARVATI PAUL RAO.” Accompanying the message was a tender photograph showing the tiny hands of their baby girl gently held by those of her parents, capturing a quiet moment of joy without revealing the child’s face.
The post quickly drew warm responses from the film industry. Actress Aahana Kumra commented, “Congratulations @patralekhaa and @rajkummar_rao and welcome little Parvati.” Fellow actors Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana expressed their delight with red heart emojis.
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa welcomed their baby girl on November 15, 2025—an occasion made doubly special as it marked their fourth wedding anniversary. In their initial announcement at the time, the couple shared their elation, stating, “We are over the moon God has blessed us with a Baby girl…Blessed parents Patralekhaa and Rajkumaar.” They described the arrival as “the greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary.”

Their love story began over a decade ago. Rajkummar first noticed Patralekhaa in an advertisement and was struck by her charm. Their paths crossed professionally during the filming of Hansal Mehta’s 2014 film “CityLights,” where their connection deepened into romance. After several years together, Rajkummar proposed in October 2021, and the couple married the following month in a private ceremony in Chandigarh, surrounded by family and close friends.
The name Parvati Paul Rao blends cultural heritage with family significance, honoring tradition while incorporating elements from both parents.
