Priyanka Chopra Jonas Joins Star-Studded Comedy with Will Ferrell and Zac Efron

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to star alongside Will Ferrell and Zac Efron in a new comedy film directed by Nicholas Stoller, known for his work in the genre.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Priyanka will be joined by Michael Pena, recognized for roles in films like “Shooter,” “Fury,” and “End of Watch,” as well as series such as “Narcos: Mexico” and “Jack Ryan.”

The film, previously known as “Judgment Day,” centers on a young ex-convict (Efron) who, after his release from prison, seizes control of a live TV courtroom, believing the judge (Ferrell) issued a ruling that upended his life.

The ensemble cast also features Academy Award winner Regina Hall, along with Jimmy Tatro and Billy Eichner.

The project is backed by Gloria Sanchez Productions, with producers Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown, and Stoller Global Solutions, led by Stoller.

This marks a reunion for Priyanka and Efron, who previously shared the screen in the 2017 film “Baywatch.”

Priyanka’s slate also includes upcoming titles like “The Bluff” and “Heads of State,” the latter co-starring John Cena and Idris Elba. She is also gearing up for the second season of her action-packed series “Citadel.”
