Pakistani Actress Hania Aamir To Exit From Sardaar Ji 3?: Rumors Go Viral Following Pahalgam Attack

Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh Faces Backlash For Associating With The Actress

There have been rumors since long that the Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and the Pakistani actress Hania Aamir might be working together on a project. Apparently, Hania was welcomed on stage by Diljit during his concert in London last year in October. Since then, fans are curious about the collaboration between both the actors.

Many fans are speculating that they might be working together on the film Sardaar Ji 3, as Diljit confirmed the film’s release to be in June 2025. Both the actors were seen filming together in the same location earlier this year, which further gave rise to the rumours. It did not take long for the fans to join the dots, who believed that Hania would be a part of the cast.

However, in the aftermath of the Pahalgam attack which has shaken the entire nation, the news about Hania’s exit from the film is going viral. It is also being believed that the search for a replacement is on. There is no official statement from the makers yet though. Meanwhile, Diljit is facing backlash online for having associated with the actress. Hashtags advocating for the boycott of Diljit and his projects, including Sardaar Ji 3, are going viral.

On the other hand, actor Fawad Khan’s much anticipated film Abir Gulaal, will not be releasing in India as a result of the attack. This will affect the film’s sales, as Fawad was going to bring about his comeback in Bollywood after 9 long years with this film.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) also issued a statement regarding the attack, in which there was a mention about reiterating their directive. The directive, which was issued on February 18, 2019, called for complete non-cooperation with all Pakistani artists, singers, and technicians within the Indian film and entertainment industry. The directive is reiterated by the federation.
