Kriti Sanon-Kabir Bahia Breakup Buzz: Insider Reveals Truth Behind Viral Photo

Speculation about trouble in Kriti Sanon and Kabir Bahia’s rumoured relationship has been doing the rounds after the businessman was spotted in a viral photo with an unidentified woman. But a source close to the matter has now dismissed the chatter, saying the image has been taken out of context.

Addressing the buzz, the source said, “The image being circulated online of Kabir with a girl has been completely misconstrued. She’s his family friend whom he considers like a sister. It’s unfortunate how quickly people jump to conclusions and spread false narratives,” as quoted by Movie Talkies.

The clarification follows days of online speculation linking the photo to reports of a rift between Kriti and Kabir. The two, however, have never officially confirmed that they are dating.

Why did the rumours start?

Kriti and Kabir have reportedly been linked since they were seen sharing pictures from the same holiday destinations. Kabir was also spotted at the wedding festivities of Kriti’s sister, Nupur Sanon.

Kriti herself addressed dating rumours obliquely during an appearance on Two Much, hosted by Twinkle Khanna and Kajol, saying her crush was “not from the industry.”

Kriti Sanon’s Cocktail 2

Kriti most recently featured in Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. “Cocktail 2 aims to cater to the younger generation. Perhaps the problems and complexities shown in the film are more identifiable to the young audience. Unfortunately, the writer of this review does not belong to that age group. While the film attempts to highlight modern day friendships and relationships, in times of social media, it fails to connect with a very poorly written story. The actors are all good, perform to their parts and look stunning on screen, but that doesn’t alleviate a very mediocre film.”
